Come explore the world of stage combat in a fun, safe, and welcoming environment! Stage combat is the theatrical technique that creates the illusion of physical combat while maintaining the safety of the performers. In this class we will dive into the basics of stage fighting, the language used, and how to maintain safety. We’ll learn various fighting moves such as punches, pushes, slaps, and more!

My name is Amber and I am a Santa Cruz native! I spent 13 years in Los Angeles going to school for musical theater and found myself sporadically doing film and television. After having my daughter in 2021, we moved back home to lead a more peaceful existence than what LA had to offer. My love of theater and acting is still strong and I'm always delighted when it crosses my path, especially in teaching form!
