Description

This class will be an opportunity to hone your muscle memory with the goal of picking up choreography faster. Each week we will learn a new combination on the spot and have a mock audition at the end of class. Week by week the dances will become longer and more complicated, so bring your “A” Game. This is an intermediate level class and I encourage all students who want to challenge themselves to enroll, push yourself in a craft you may not be as comfortable with. We will be learning a variety of dance styles from Fosse to Funk. I look forward to moving and shaking with you all!

For students who may have speed-related choreography learning barriers, but would like to see if this class can strengthen their pick-up speed skill, please share these concerns in advance of the class, and register for / attend class 1.   After trying the first class, the Instructor, your Class Coordinator(s) and you can evaluate if the class is a good fit and, if not, may request an enrollment adjustment.

Patrick Pulpan

Hey dancers, my name is Patrick! I'm a bay area native who started dancing at the age of 10 at Elaine's Dance Studio on Soquel. My stage career began in Cabrillo Stage's "CHICAGO" and "Beauty & the Beast" staring as the iconic dancing salt shaker. After highschool, I moved to Los Angeles to attend the American Music and Dramatics Academy, studying music theater. I recently moved back to SC after being in New York City the past four years doing stand up comedy and continued my training. I'm overjoyed to be teaching dance classes this Fall!
