CYT's goal is that every student leaves their class not only feeling more confident in their performing arts skills, but also in who they were created to be. CYT is committed to providing excellent theater training by staying informed of National VAPA (Visual and Performing Arts) standards. CYT hires qualified Teaching Arts and Artistic Teams who consistently elevate our students’ knowledge of theater arts. CYT Artistic Teams
CYT Artistic Team members (Directors, Choreographers, Musical Directors) are confident in their skills and abilities, both as a leader and a team player, and are able to infuse every rehearsal with character developing theater arts training. CYT offers audition opportunities to students currently enrolled in classes between the ages of 8-18. Rehearsals are held twice a week on Friday evenings and Saturday mornings. The rehearsal process and show weekends wrap up after about 10 weeks total. The shows coincide with the class sessions, occurring every Fall, Winter, and Spring, with occasional opportunities during some Summer sessions as well.
CYT's goal is that every student leaves each rehearsal not only feeling more confident in their performing arts skills, but also in who they were created to be. CYT is committed to providing excellent theater training by staying informed of National VAPA (Visual and Performing Arts) standards and hires qualified Artistic Teams who consistently elevate our students’ knowledge of theater arts.
